I did not know Ms. K personally, but I know she meant tons to my friends and teachers. Thank you for being a positive influence to the Lion community, and we will miss you! Your good spirit, love, and legacy will never be forgotten.💙💛

I remember looking at the weather reports one summer and being deathly afraid I was going to end up in the hospital due to the heat. I posted my fears on Facebook. A day later I had a message from you that you had crowdfunded to get me a portable AC for my room. It is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me and shows exactly who you were.

You saw things in me I didn’t see in myself. You asked me to come to an LPAC meeting just to check it out. You convinced me I’d be great on the committee and I became the secretary. That experience made me comfortable stepping up as secretary in the Disability Advisory Committee and feel confident enough to accept my current position as co-chair.

Thank you for all you did for me and all Lincoln students. You made my life…
